At most firms, directors sell the work and engineers deliver it. At Summation, the people who scope the project are the people who do it. Every project is led by a Chartered Professional Engineer or director with direct experience in the work.

The problems our clients bring us are technically complex. Our job is not just to solve them — it is to explain what we find clearly, so clients can make informed decisions and explain those decisions to others.
About Summation
Summation was founded in Perth in 2023 by Pras Suraweera and Mark Price — two engineers who wanted to work differently from the large consultancies they had spent their careers in. The model was straightforward: senior people on every project, independent advice, and clients who understand what they are paying for.
That model has not changed. Today Summation has engineers and consultants across Perth, Adelaide, and Melbourne, working on projects from commercial rooftop solar and utility-scale renewables to premium commercial developments and government sustainability programmes. Every engagement is led by a director or senior Chartered Professional Engineer.
